Shout out to Leanna Napolitano! Leanna is being recognized by Envision Financial, a division of First West Credit Union for her leadership in the community through our employee Lead Well program. To top it off, she is receiving a $500 donation to a charity of her choice! Leanna has been playing soccer since she was a child and now as a parent of two soccer players, she has joined multiple boards and committees to become further involved. Leanna is currently a director on the BC Soccer board, member of the finance and grass roots committees, and Chair of the Women in Soccer and Scholarship and awards committee. And she’s rocking it as the only female at the board table! Working with BC Soccer has provided so many great opportunities for Leanna and aligns well with her business expertise and personal values. Leanna chose to donate the $500 award towards BC Soccer, more specifically the Joe Ciresi award. Joe was her uncle and he passed away earlier this year. He was a mentor, friend, supporter of her involvement in soccer, a coach and a respected referee. The award was established this year in his honour - it will be awarded to someone who demonstrates a love for the law of the game, is willing to go that extra mile and has proven a love of soccer.
