Winning the $50,000 SimpleGenerosity grant from Valley First, a division of First West Credit Union and Enderby & District Financial, a division of First West CU would allow them to develop Building Voices – a mentorship program that brings Aboriginal youth and elders together to promote health and well being. By combining traditional cultural activites and outdoor recreation they hope to provide a space where elders and youth have the opportunity to learn about physical, mental, emotional and spiritual wellness.
